Supporting local sport
Maybe you’ve already seen our sponsorship posts on social media. We’ve got our hands full engineering and manufacturing production lines and equipment, and we’re also a significant force behind local sports in our home town Kauhajoki. It’s our way of encouraging local sports. It’s great to see and experience how sport combines cooperation and positivity. We want to spread that feeling around us here at work as well.
Pinomatic has been involved in supporting the local National Finnish Basketball Team Kauhajoki’s Karhu Basket for many years. The National Finnish basketball league’s as Korisliiga’s regular season games are on halfway. News from IKH Areena, Karhuluola, «Bear cave», as for this season we signed our own title player, American player Quanterrius Jackson with playing number 11. Jackson is the USA basketball player and comes from Tallahassee, Florida and is a familiar player in Korisliiga, having played for Kouvot in the previous two seasons. Prior to the Basketball League, he played five seasons college basketball for the Georgia Southern and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
